Dr. Constantin SanduPostdoctoral Fellow My research interests cover the area of planetary geodynamics with a special interest on the role of volatiles on the thermal and tectonic evolution of terrestrial planets. Currently I am examining the factors that determine the spatial and temporal extent of volcanic activity on the surface of planet Mars using numeric simulation of mantle convection. My aim is to improve the understanding and parameterization of planet’s mantle convection and to adapt the Earth knowledge on these subjects to the planet Mars. Last updated |
