Production Schedule

Please pay close attention to the dates listed below. All editorial processing and typesetting will be performed by the Lunar and Planetary Institute (LPI). The production staff has dedicated certain windows of time for working on this project. However, they are also already committed to other large work efforts. Because this work is being performed on a contract basis, there is simply zero flexibility in the process for late chapters.  If you cannot or will not deliver your chapter on time, we hold the right to revoke your invitation to write this chapter and select an alternate Lead Author who can immediately provide what is needed.  Late chapters are also subject to cancellation.

If you know that you will be unavailable for any extended period of time during the production process, please notify Renée Dotson at the LPI to designate a co-author or someone else who can proof galleys, answer questions, etc., in your absence. The successful completion of this project is up to you!
