There are several ways
to get involved, from proposing outreach activities that connect
to ongoing space science research, to joining an ongoing educational
effort.

SCORE Region Museums, Planetariums, and Organizations
Directory of Prospective Partners in Educational Initiatives
Compiled by the Space Science Institute, this is a rich resource of
institutions and programs. Some are national in scope, others are more
specific to the western Broker/Facilitator region than to the SCORE
region.
Space Grants
Many Space Grants have education
and public outreach programs and/or assist researchers and educators
in participating in education programs. The following Space Grant programs
are in the SCORE Broker region.
Historically Black Colleges and Universities ( HBCU)
A list of Historically Black Colleges and Universities from the White
House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
Tribal Colleges
Created
in response to the higher-education needs of American Indians, Tribal
Colleges generally serve geographically isolated populations that have
no other means of accessing education beyond the high school level.
They have become increasingly important to educational opportunity for
American Indian students. Tribal Colleges are unique institutions that
combine personal attention with cultural relevance, in such a way as
to encourage American Indians —especially those living on reservations — to
overcome the barriers they face to higher education.
Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU)
HACU is committed to Hispanic success in education, from kindergarten
through graduate school and into the work force. HACU's goals are to
promote the development of member colleges and universities; to improve
access to and the quality of postsecondary educational opportunities
for Hispanic students; and to meet the needs of business, industry,
and government through the development and sharing of resources, information,
and expertise.
NASA Minority University Research and Education Programs
(MUREP)
MUREP focuses primarily on expanding and advancing NASA's scientific
technological base through collaborative efforts with Historically Black
Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSI),
and Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCU).
