The catalog was compiled by the Education and Program Services Department of the Lunar and Planetary Institute, Houston, Texas. The LPI is a nonprofit institute for research on the formation, evolution, and nature of the solar system. As part of its program of education and public service activities, the Center for Information and Research Services answers hundreds of inquiries and requests for information and materials each year. This listing represents a compilation of some of the most useful products and resources. LPI is operated by the Universities Space Research Association under contract NASW 4574 with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
