This impact crater is now only a circular depression with a slightly raised rim. The rest of the topography typical of impact craters has been lost over time, eroded away and covered by later geologic deposits. Because it has been modified so much from its original form, this crater is probably quite old, probably dating from the Noachian Epoch in Mars' history.
