The Playful Building module is a product of the STAR Library Education Network project (STAR_Net), a national program to support libraries that provide — or want to provide — science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) informal learning experiences. STAR_Net is led by the National Center for Interactive Learning (NCIL) at the Space Science Institute. The project team also includes the American Library Association (ALA), Lunar and Planetary Institute (LPI), and National Girls Collaborative Project (NGCP).
This material is based upon work supported by the National Science Foundation under Grant No. DRL-1010844. Any opinions, findings, and conclusions or recommendations expressed in this material are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the National Science Foundation.
Development Team (Lunar and Planetary Institute, Houston, Texas)
The Playful Building module was developed for libraries to use in support of the STAR_Net project’s Discover Tech traveling exhibit, although it may be implemented independently.
