NASA's New Worlds, New Discoveries
Year of the Solar System: Resources for Educators

The Martian year that marked the initial dates for the Year of the Solar System (YSS) is over, but the salute to current NASA missions and the past 50 years of Solar System Exploration will continue to offer ways for you to get involved with NASA’s ground-breaking science discoveries through YSS: New Worlds, New Discoveries!

New Worlds, New Discoveries is making it possible for you to bring NASA science into your programs and your community! New Worlds, New Discoveries provides an integrated picture of our new understanding of the solar system by bringing the amazing discoveries of past NASA planetary missions combined with the most recent findings of ongoing missions and connecting them to the related planetary science topics. Find topics, activities, and resources at http://solarsystem.nasa.gov/yss ! You will also find the latest news in mission discoveries and related science.

A quarterly newsletter, for educators and for the Planetary education community, is available at YSS Downloads . It includes updates about the Year of the Solar System’s new phase, New Worlds, New Discoveries, as well as mission news, upcoming events, ways to get involved, and more!
