On March 12, 2006 SCORE and the Structure and Evolution of the Universe Education Forum hosted a workshop to explore the public’s understanding of planetary science. A total of 52 participants, including scientists, formal and informal science educators, and Mission E/PO leads explored misconceptions that might be held by audiences, and considered tools that could be used to identify and address these misconceptions.
