LPI Presents Sky Fest: Jupiter, the King

The Lunar and Planetary Institute (LPI) partners with the NASA Johnson Space Center Astronomical Society to engage families in Sky Fest, a celebration of celestial events or NASA mission milestones. Sky Fest is open to all ages, and includes presentations from scientists, hands-on activities, and night sky viewing through telescopes (weather permitting).
LPI presents “Sky Fest: Jupiter, the King” on Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 8:00–10:00 p.m. at the LPI. Explorers of all ages are welcome.
Activities will include:
- Exploring Icy Surfaces
- Investigating Planetary Interiors
- Portable Planetarium Shows
- Presentations by a scientist
- Night sky viewing, including Jupiter, through telescopes (weather permitting)
