New MyMoon Contest: "Honoring Neil"

Postby EveHalligan » Wed Nov 21, 2012 3:25 pm

Help MyMoon in honoring the life and legacy of Neil Armstrong, who passed away at the age of 82 on August 25, 2012 — as we approach the 40th Anniversary of the last footprints left on the Moon by Apollo 17 astronauts in December of 1972.

The inspiring words and actions of the legendary space pioneer will forever challenge us to continue to push our boundaries and blaze new trails of space exploration. MyMoon was wondering — What does Neil's legacy and impact mean to you? How has it touched your life?

To enter, submit your artwork, poetry, music, service projects, letters, videos, etc. honoring Neil Armstrong. The top 5 will be chosen by the MyMoon team, and then presented for voting on the MyMoon Polls, where the winner will be decided. Prize? Besides the feeling of giving back, the winner will also receive a copy of the book Back to the Moon by Homer Hickam and other MyMoon goodies!

All entries must be received by midnight January 20, 2013. For more details, please visit:
