We recently made some updates to the module Jupiter's Family Secrets (http://www.lpi.usra.edu/education/explore/solar_system). Thank you to those who contributed feedback and suggestions! The order of activities is now structured according to the target age, so that there is a rich series of investigations for ages 8 to 13, and an additional series of options for ages 10 to 13. The SkyTellers Native American Story, “The Creation of Earth,” is now part of the activity From Your Birthday to Jupiter's (http://www.lpi.usra.edu/education/explo ... /birthday/). With your feedback, we were also able to identify some alternative materials for certain activities.
As with all of our Explore! modules, we hope that you will find the module to be flexible for meeting the needs of your community. You may design your own program of one or more of activities, or you may choose to build the story of the Juno mission and its science through the complete series! The two stations activities, Weather Stations (http://www.lpi.usra.edu/education/explo ... rStations/) and Neato-Magneto Planets (http://www.lpi.usra.edu/education/explo ... toMagneto/), feature short investigations that are particularly easy to mix-and-match with the module's night viewing or edible activity.
