The journal holdings list has been broken up into a number of pages to
facilitate browsing and speedy loading of the pages. Select the appropriate
portion of the listing from the menu that follows. See the description of a
holdings record for information on different fields of a holdings record.
| The record starts with the title of the journal. A check mark in the box at the beginning of the line indicates a current (active) subscription; an empty box indicates a former subscription. | |
| Holdings | This field indicates the beginning year and volume (or number) and, if appropriate, the last year and volume (or number) of the title run held in the collection. |
| Missing | This field indicates which, if any, issues, volumes, or years of the title are missing from the run of the title as indicated in the Holdings field. |
|
Bound Unbound Microfilm |
The next three fields indicate what portions of the title holdings are in what format which can mean a difference in storage location. For example, portions of journals that are on microfilm are stored in special cabinets instead of on the journal shelves. And the most recent unbound issues of a title will be found on the "current journal shelves." |
| Location | This field indicates where the back issues of the title can be found in the facility. It includes the area of the library and, in the case of the main journal storage area (Mobile Unit 2), it includes carriage, section, and shelf information. |
| Notes | This field contains miscellaneous information about the title that might prove useful to a patron. This can include information about such things as title changes, alternate forms of publication, and supplemental materials. |
