LPI’s Cosmic Explorations presentation begins at 7:30 p.m. and will be followed by a light reception.

The Lunar and Planetary Institute is conducting professional development sessions at the Harris County Department of Education in Houston, Texas, for elementary and middle school educators. Sessions will be held in December, January and February, and will cover patterns in the sky, Earth’s changing surface, the solar system and seasons, lunar phases and tides, and characteristics of the universe. Advanced registration is required, and spaces are limited.
