Cosmic Explorations: Dr. Georgiana Kramer on February 2



Join us for the next Cosmic Explorations lecture on Thursday, February 2, 2017. LPI staff scientist Dr. Georgiana Kramer will present “Lunar Swirls: You Don’t Know What You’re Missing (And Neither Do They).” The presentation begins at 7:30 pm at the USRA-Houston building, and as always, it’s free. LPI Summer Intern Application Deadline January 6


The Lunar and Planetary Institute invites undergraduates with at least 50 semester hours of credit to experience cutting-edge research in the lunar and planetary sciences. Summer Interns work one-on-one with scientists at the LPI or at the NASA Johnson Space Center on research projects of current interest in lunar and planetary science. The 10-week program runs from June 5, 2017 – August 11, 2017. The deadline to apply is January 6, 2017.
