Information for exhibitors interested in participating the Lunar and Planetary Science Conference in March can be found on the conference website. Exhibitor registration forms are due by January 31. New this year — exhibitors can register for up to three booths at the same time.

Join us for the next Cosmic Explorations lecture on Thursday, February 2, 2017. LPI staff scientist Dr. Georgiana Kramer will present “Lunar Swirls: You Don’t Know What You’re Missing (And Neither Do They).” The presentation begins at 7:30 pm at the USRA-Houston building, and as always, it’s free. A reception will follow. If you can’t make it, watch it streamed live through the USRA Ustream channel.
REMINDER: The deadline for abstract submission for the Lunar and Planetary Science Conference (LPSC) is Tuesday, January 10, 2017. You can find abstract submission instructions and the electronic abstract submission form online. LPSC will be held March 20 – 24, 2017 in The Woodlands, Texas.
The Lunar and Planetary Institute invites undergraduates with at least 50 semester hours of credit to experience cutting-edge research in the lunar and planetary sciences. Summer Interns work one-on-one with scientists at the LPI or at the NASA Johnson Space Center on research projects of current interest in lunar and planetary science. The 10-week program runs from June 5, 2017 – August 11, 2017. The deadline to apply is January 6, 2017.
