My research focuses on geodynamics both in the Mars and the Earth. The main goal is to improve our understanding of geological and geophysical phenomena, such as volcanism, topographic/geoid anomaly, mantle convection, plumes, faulting, and earthquakes, in a thermal-mechanical view. The researches are mainly done by numerical calculation of finite element models. The model parameters and results are constrained and/or compared with observations from gravity field, topography, meteorites, seismicity, geodesy, and other geological/geophysical sources.
