| Description | Sample 15230 was collected at Station 2 from underneath the boulder which was rolled over by the crew. All soil samples collected at Station 2, 15210, 15220, and 15230 are representative of the fine grained upper part of the regolith at Station 2. Except for the large boulder itself, the immediate sample area is underlain by the sub centermeter fines whith a few scattered consolidated fragments no longer than 10 cm in diameter. |
