DescriptionDeep core contining samples 60001 through 60007 was drilled at the ALSEP site about 175 m southwest of the LM and 25 m south of the ALSEP central station. The sample area is generally flat with blocks up to 10-15 cm abundant. Deep drill area has the least compacted soil and the highest density of craters in the area. Core stems went easily into the surface.
