| Lithology | soil |
| Location | Taken from deep trench from Station 4, on rim of 120 meter Shorty crater |
| Description | Considered to be a clod of friable material taken 6-8 cm deep in a trench from Station 4, on the rim of 120 meter Shorty crater. The site is near the low place in the crater rim crest. The fragments population is highly variable, craters up to several meters in diameter are common. The particles larger than 1 mm are mostly friable clumps that disagregated during sieving. Any discontinuity is probably due to the fact that the sizes <1 mm were sieved and the sizes >1 mm were hand picked. |
