REQUESTS FOR PERIPHERAL MEETING SPACE

LPSC Peripheral Policy —

Meetings held in conjunction with LPSC must meet certain criteria in order to garner the financial and resource support of LPI and LPSC. Due to limited space and resources, and the increased number of peripheral meetings, we have formalized the process to ensure all requests are received and reviewed in a timely and equitable manner.

All requests must be submitted on the request form provided below and received by 5:00 p.m. Central Standard Time (GMT -6) December 2, 2011.

Requests received after this time will not be considered.

Criteria for Meeting Space Requests —

• Must not be an independent science session to be held within the scope of LPSC
• Must discuss science or mission planning activities, education/public outreach activities, or to business matters of mission activities
• Are not scheduled during the regular technical sessions of LPSC

Peripheral meetings will only be scheduled between Sunday, March 18, and Friday, March 23, 2012. Requests for meetings before or after these dates will not be considered.
