Mark is the Director and CEO of the Planetary Science Institute, a private non-profit corporation dedicated to solar system exploration, headquartered in Tucson, AZ. He currently chairs NASA's Small Bodies Assessment Group and was on the NASA science team supporting the Augustine Commission. Mark received his PhD in planetary sciences and his Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona.
