This will be a small workshop with up to 120 participants, including a significant number of students and young scientists. The topics to be discussed include, but are not limited to:
- Chemistry of small bodies in the early solar system
- Planetary accretion
- Core-mantle differentiation
- Delivery of volatile elements, including water
- Nature and timing of the “late veneer”
- Consequences of giant impacts
- etc., etc.
The workshop will be held at La Maison du Seminaire which is located on the sea front in downtown Nice – see http://www.maisonduseminaire.fr/. Participants should arrive on May 26, 2014 and depart on May 31, so that scientific sessions (talks and posters) will be scheduled over a period of 4 days.
Accommodation is available at La Maison du Seminaire with rooms costing 90 euros/night (sea view) or 70 euros/night (garden view). Each room is a double room and they have 36 rooms total (in the case of sharing, the cost per person is 50% of the above figures). Alternatively, participants can book accommodation in nearby hotels. Because late May is a really busy time in the Nice area, it is essential to reserve accommodation as soon as possible,
