The incumbent serves as an AST-Science Program Management Physical Scientist in the Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate (HEOMD) Chief Exploration Scientist. Represents HEOMD in broader science discussion across NASA industry, academia, national and international fora. Integrates AES robotic precursor activities with programs in NASAs Science Mission Directorate, Space Technology Mission Directorate, and with commercial and international partners. AES is responsible for developing and demonstrating and integrating key system-level capabilities, and acquiring key measurements, required for beyond Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Human Space Exploration.
