Job Opportunity: Planetary Sciences Exploration Postdoctoral Position at the University of Central Florida

The Department of Physics (physics.cos.ucf.edu) at the University of Central Florida (UCF) and the Florida Space Institute (FSI) invite applications for a post-doctoral position as part of the Center for Lunar and Asteroid Surface Science (CLASS) of the NASA Solar System Exploration Research Virtual Institute (SSERVI). We seek candidates with interests in exploration-related planetary science including, but not limited to, primitive asteroid mineralogy, regolith processes, and in-situ resource utilization. Applicants must have a Ph.D. at the time of appointment in Geological Sciences, Planetary Sciences, or a closely related discipline. The successful applicant is expected to be involved in CLASS projects related to the physical properties of asteroidal materials, development of asteroid regolith simulants,
