Session Description:
Education, public engagement, and communication activities can connect subject matter experts with students, educators and program facilitators, and the public. These diverse audiences benefit from partnerships with scientists and engineers, who can personalize scientific discoveries and engage a new generation of STEM professionals. Scientists and engineers are invited to share tools, resources, and lessons learned about their efforts to engage these audiences. We also invite education, public engagement, and communication professionals to share best practices to help improve the impacts and outcomes of these activities for subject matter experts and their audiences. Programs with evaluation data or participant feedback will be invited to share their evaluation tools and results.
