22. Lake-Driven Snow

Water from Uvs Lake in Mongolia is condensing to form a cloud and the moisture is being dropped immediately downwind as snow. This phenomenon is seen at high altitudes in low temperatures, particularly with salt lakes that remain ice free while the surrounding landmass has an air temperature below freezing.
