4. Yuty Ejecta

The multilobate nature of the ejecta blanket, the terracing of the wall, and the dominant central peak indicate that 19-km-diameter Yuty is a young, complex crater. The visibility of the pre-existing crater (just outside Yuty's rim) through the ejecta blanket indicates that the ejecta deposits surrounding martian craters are relatively thin.
