D. Kring was invited to speak to the Impact Cratering Research Group of the Museum für Naturekunde, Berlin, Germany.  The title of his presentation was “The Lunar Cataclysm Hypothesis and Implications for the Entire Solar System” on April 17th, 2012.

D. Kring was invited to give the Museum Colloquium at the Museum für Naturekunde, Berlin, Germany.  The title of his presentation was “The Chicxulub Impact Event and the Environmental Calamity it Produced at the at the K-T (K-Pg) Boundary,” on April 17th, 2012.

D. Kring was invited to give the closing keynote address at the European Lunar Symposium in Berlin, Germany.  The title of his presentation was “Using the Moon to Explore the Evolution of the Entire Solar System” on April 20th, 2012.

Education Public Outreach

G. Kramer, mentored 2 high school lunar research teams (requiring weekly involvement). They will be presenting their work and competing in April.

W. S. Kiefer is a Co-I, Complete Restoration of the ALSEP Data, April through June 1975, and the Associated Metadata, NASA Lunar Advanced Science and Exploration Research Program.

W. S. Kiefer is a Co-I, Density and Porosity of Martian Crustal Materials, NASA Mars Fundamental Research Program.

W. S. Kiefer is a Co-I, Experimental and Theoretical Studies of Geochemical Evolution and Thermal Structure of the Martian Mantle: Test for the Martian Magma Ocean Hypothesis, NASA Cosmochemistry program.
