This graphic shows the estimated extent of damage caused by the Tswaing impact.
These estimates are based on a comparison to calculations made for the Barringer Meteorite Crater,
which is nearly equal in size to the Tswaing Crater.
The city of Pretoria, shown in the lower half of the image, is the administrative capital
of the Republic of South Africa and has a population of approx. 1,010,000.
