Josue Salazar is a
research assistant at the Lunar and Planetary Institute and the Rice
University. He has
obtained his BS in computer systems engineering from the University of Houston
Clear Lake. He works on developing methods for detecting spatial,
temporal and modal change in geo-spatial datasets using association
analysis.
Lourenco Bandeira
graduated in Engineering from Instituto Superior Tecnico (IST) in 2003
and completed his MSc in the applications of visual control to
robotics. He is currently working on his PhD studies regarding the
development of automated methodologies for pattern recognition on
images of planetary surfaces. He works with
Tomasz on automatic detection of craters from high resolution
planetary images. More...
Chaitanya Bagaria is a

of Houston and a visiting graduate student at the Lunar and Planetary
Institute. He works with
Tomasz on developing methods for automatic generation of physigraphic
maps from topographic data.
Erik Urbach is
Postdoctoral Fellow CMIS, Mathematics, Informatics and Statistics at
CSIRO. He has
obtained his PhD in computer science from the University of Groningen
in The Netherlands and is an expert in mathematical morphology and
computer vision. He worked with Tomasz on machine identification of
Martian impact
craters from
topography and imagery data.
Brian Bue is currently
a third-year Ph.D. student in the Rice University Electrical and
Computer Engineering Department. He is also a member of technical staff
at the NASA Jet Propultion Laboratory in the Machine Learning and
Instrument Autonomy Group. He worked with Tomasz on automated
landform classification and crater counting. More...
