SANDIA CREST
On Wednesday evening, we took the tram up to the crest of the Sandia Mountains, and had
dinner there at the High Finance restaurant.

The Great Unconformity again, but with even more missing. The preCambrian granites are about 1.8 billion years old. The layered rocks on top are Pennsylvanian age similar to the Kaibab limestone of the Grand Canyon, and full of fossils. Credit. |
