Student Travel Support

Second VEXAG Community Meeting
Pasadena, California
May 1–2, 2006

NASA will provide support for travel of up to four (4) students from any city in the US to the Second VEXAG Community Meeting which will be held in Pasadena, California, on May 1 and 2, 2006. Expenses for airfare, accommodation, meals and airport transfers will be covered. Graduate students and exceptionally qualified undergraduate seniors are eligible.

In order to apply for the support, the student should send electronically the following material to Steve Mackwell, no later than MARCH 29, 2006.

Application Material Required (preferably by e-mail):

1. One page CV, including a list of Advanced Physical Science/Engineering courses taken, research projects, and cumulative GPA.

2. One page description on how your participation in the VEXAG meeting will benefit (a) you professionally, (b) NASA's goals of planetary exploration, in general, in Venus, in particular.

3. One letter of evaluation from a faculty advisor.
