Workshop on Venus Exploration Targets
May 19–21, 2014
Lunar and Planetary Institute, Houston Texas
JPL will provide support for travel of up to four (4) students from any city in the US to the Workshop on Venus Exploration Targets which will be held in Houston, Texas on May 19–21, 2014. Expenses for airfare, accommodation, meals and airport transfers will be covered. Graduate students and exceptionally qualified undergraduate seniors are eligible.
In order to apply for the support, the student should send electronically the following material to Tommy Thompson, JPL, no later than March 4, 2014.
Application Material Required (preferably by e-mail):
1. One page CV, including a list of Advanced Physical Science/Engineering courses taken, research projects, and cumulative GPA.
2. One page description on how your participation in the Workshop on Venus Exploration Targets will benefit (a) you professionally, (b) NASA's goals of planetary exploration, in general, in Venus, in particular.
3. Letter of evaluation from a faculty advisor.
4. Copy of abstract submitted to Venus Exploration Targets Workshop.
