March 19, 2020

LPI Announces the Recipients of the 2020 Career Development Award

Dr. Louise Prockter, LPI Director, talks to a group of interns.

The Lunar and Planetary Institute (LPI) is pleased to announce the names of the students selected for the 2020 LPI Summer Intern Program in Planetary Science. LPI has been training scientists since 1977. The LPI's highly competitive intern program offers undergraduates the opportunity to experience cutting-edge research in lunar and planetary science, working one-on-one with scientists at the LPI and the NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) on a project of current interest in planetary science.

This year's class is comprised of 14 undergraduate students at universities in the United States, Canada, and Europe. The program typically runs early June through early August each year.

For more information about the program, visit the summer intern webpage.
