Join Us in San Juan, Puerto Rico, for an LPI-Led Culturally Inclusive Planetary Engagement Workshop

Planetary scientists and astrobiologists are invited to apply to attend the Culturally Inclusive Planetary Engagement professional development workshop from November 2-4, 2023, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Planetary science and astrobiology scientists (including graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, engineers, and technicians) and informal science educators are invited to apply to attend this workshop to discuss strategies for engaging diverse audiences, specifically Black and Latinx youth and their families, in planetary science and exploration. Participants will share their cultural identities, knowledge, and experiences in engaging diverse audiences, as well as practice strategies and hands-on planetary science activities during a public event at EcoExploratorio.
