Career Pathways Workshop: Planetary Science

Find your place in planetary science! Network with researchers, learn about exciting projects, and prepare for a future career in STEM.

Students and faculty are invited to join the Lunar and Planetary Institute for a free science and career development workshop on Saturday, November 11, from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM CT.

Participants will network with scientists, explore academic and professional pathways, learn about exciting research projects, and more. During the workshop, we’ll share information about internships, partnerships, and opportunities for students, research groups, and institutions to get involved in planetary science.

This event will take place at the Lunar and Planetary Institute (3600 Bay Area Blvd., Houston, TX 77058). Lunch will be provided.

Workshop offerings will include:

  • Career exploration for students
  • Discussion of partnerships, collaborations, and seed grants for faculty and administrators
  • Networking with LPI and NASA scientists
  • Science symposium about active research topics
  • And more!
