Nomination and Selection Process

For consideration this year, nominations must be received by July 23, 2021, at 11:59 pm PDT to allow time for the evaluation of the nominees and notification of the selected awardee. The selected awardee will be recognized at the annual LEAG meeting and will be invited to give a presentation on a topic of the awardee’s choosing on Day 1 of the meeting (August 31, 2021). Nominations should be submitted via e-mail to the LEAG Chair, Dr. Amy L. Fagan ([email protected]).

Nominations for future LEAG service awards can be made throughout the year, and the LEAG Executive Committee will evaluate nominations and select the awardee. Unsuccessful nominations will be considered for future awards without a need for resubmission. Nominations are restricted to 2,000 characters and should include specific information regarding the nominee (see potential characteristics of the awardee in the description above).
