For middle school teachers and students: On May 16 at 11 am and 1 pm EDT, join the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum for the fast-paced webcast STEM in 30. From using the naked eye to the Hubble Space Telescope, we can observe the universe in many different ways. This episode called “How Do We Know What’s Out There?” discusses the science behind observing and the equipment like the Hubble Space Telescope that allows us to see further and further out.
