My general interests reside in the geodynamics of the terrestrial planets, especially in the formation and evolution of large-scale provinces and how they relate to a planet as a whole. In studying such provinces I use analytical and finite element methods to model the thermo-mechanical behavior of upper mantle and crust and compare model results to available planetary datasets, such as gravity, topography, and imagery. My research efforts also include the modeling of radar propagation through the polar caps of Mars, in expectation of the upcoming radar sounding experiments to operate in Martian orbit (MARSIS and SHARAD).
