My research interests broadly lie in the area of planetary science with an emphasis on geochemistry and experimental petrology. Currently, my research interests focus on the nature and composition of planetary surfaces, the density of lunar and mercurian melts, the composition of planetary interiors and its relation to the thermal and magmatic evolution of the planet. Furthermore, I have been experimentally investigating the impact of low oxygen fugacity on elemental affinity as it pertains to the geologic history of Mercury. I'm also extremely interested in planetary differentiation and the role of magma density on the resurfacing of planetary surfaces. In addition to my research, I am passionate about education and public outreach and have a strong desire to engage the public in learning about the Solar System and our exploration of it.
