Description | The contingency sample was taken in front of quad IV of the LM. The documented sample was collected 5 meters north of the LM, the bulk sample was collected in front of quad IV by pouring scoops of loose soil to fill the voids left between rock samples in the bulk sample container. 10084 is the bulk soil sample. Soil is fine grained and hard in this sample area. There are few fragments and it is difficult to scoop deeper than 5 cm below the surface. |
