Lunar Distance Calculator
This tool calculates the distance between two points on the Moon, using the spherical law of cosines, and assumes a spherical Moon of radius 1737.4 km. Distance calculations provided with this tool do not take into consideration variations in terrain or altitude, and simply provide a quick way to obtain reasonably close estimates of the distance between two points on the Moon.
Coordinate values should be entered in decimal degrees. Latitudes should be between ±90°, and longitudes should be between ±180°.
