INFORMATION FOR WORKSHOP PRESENTERS

Please note that workshop participants should plan to arrive with all necessary materials (transparencies, handouts, etc.), as copier availability may be limited. Additional information for presenters is given below.

Oral Presentations —

All oral presentations (except where noted in the program) will be given 10 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for discussion. Audio-visual equipment available for oral presentations includes two 35-mm carousel slide projectors, two overhead projectors, one 6' 12' video screen, and an LCD projector. Presenters bringing an electronic presentation should use either a CD-ROM or a Zip disk (100- or 250-MB format). A pointer, lectern, and lavaliere microphone will also be provided.

Poster Presentations —

A dedicated poster session will be held Friday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Poster display space available to authors is 44" 44". Posters will be displayed on free-standing panels that are 4' 8' (including frame). Two presenters will share one side of one panel, so it is important that you confine your display to the 44" 44" limit. Please plan your poster so that it can be attached to the panel with push pins. The background is dark gray, so light-colored backings will help to make a more effective presentation. Due to space limitations, we cannot accommodate computer demonstrations, VCR players, or tables for handout materials as a part of your poster display. Posters may be set up beginning at 8:00 a.m. Friday morning and should be taken down immediately upon the conclusion of the workshop.
