The exterior has smooth brown/black fusion crust on 75% of its surface. The interior has a black matrix with light colored chondrules.

The section consists of numerous small chondrules (up to 1 mm), mineral grains and CAIs set in a black matrix; rare metal and sulfide grains are present. Chondrules exhibit significant alteration and shock flattening. Olivine compositions are Fa1-40, with a peak at Fa0-2. The matrix consists dominantly of an Fe-rich serpentine. The meteorite is a CM2 chondrite.
