DISCOVERY OF THE MILLARVILLE, CANADA, IRON METEORITE

Name: MILLARVILLE

Place of find: Approximately 30 km SW of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

50°47'50"N., 114°18'34"W.

Date of find: April 28, 1977, 0830 hrs.

Class and type: Iron. Structurally anomalous (IVA).

Number of individual

specimens: 1

Total weight: 15.636 kg

Circumstances of find: Found by Mr. C.E. Hayward while ploughing a newly cleared field.
