Achondrite (eucrite, polymict)

A mass of 11.8 g was purchased by M. Zicaro. Classification and mineralogy (M. Bourot-Denise, MNHNP): a homogeneous matrix contains orthopyroxene clasts of slightly larger grain size and basaltic-textured clasts, along with a few silica patches. The most abundant pyroxene is pigeonite (Fs22.5) generally containing augite lamellae. Plagioclase An77.8-90.8. Low shock stage, weathering grade W1. Specimens: type specimen 2.5 g, MNHNP; main mass with buyer.
