A.       Pani purchased ~2 kg of a meteorite broken into several fragments from an anonymous finder who claims to have recovered it after observing it fall. Mineralogy and classification (F. Brandstätter, NHMV): a brecciated meteorite covered by black fresh fusion crust; interior is light-grey, with white-grey and dark-grey angular fragments (<1 cm up to several centimeters in size); main part has type 3 texture with well-defined chondrules, some with brownish glass; chondrules in some clasts are slightly deformed and matrix is recrystallized, typical of petrologic type 4 or 5; unequilibrated clast mineralogy includes olivine (Fa_0.6–22.8), pyroxene (Fs_1.6–19.5), low Ni-metal (Ni = 7.4–7.6 wt%, Co = 0.73–1.06 wt%); equilibrated clast mineralogy includes olivine (Fa_23.4–24.8), pyroxene (Fs_19.1–23.3), low-Ni metal (Ni = 7.4–7.6 wt%, Co = 0.85–0.97 wt%); weathering grade, W0.
