Durango, Mexico

Found 1986

Stony-iron. Pallasite.

A single 8.4 kg mass was found about 40 miles W of Durango, Mexico, possibly near Otinapa. Olivine Fa13.0. The specimen is distinct from Ahumada (Fa11.5). 1.5 kg American Museum of Natural History; 3.5 kg. private collection of Robert Haag. (R. A. Haag, 2990 E. Michigan Dr., Tucson, AZ 85726, USA)
