Physical Description: Roberta Score

Stone is totally covered with iridescent brown and dull black fusion crust. Most of the interior of the stone has been weathered to a deep reddish-brown color. Some white evaporite deposit was noted just under the fusion crust. Dimensions: 5 x 4 x 3 cm.


Petrographic Description: Brian Mason

Chondritic structure is moderately well developed, with chondrules ranging from 0.4-1.5 mm in diameter. The matrix consists mainly of granular olivine and pyroxene, with minor amounts of nickel-iron and troilite. Weathering is extensive, with veins of limonite throughout the section. Fusion crust rims one edge of the section. Microprobe analyses show olivine (Fa18) and pyroxene (Fs15) of uniform composition. The meteorite is classified as an H5 chondrite.
