Poolowanna South Australia Found 1997 May Ordinary chondrite (H5) An 875 g stone was found by Mr. Roger Henwood 70 km west of Poolowanna Lake in the Simpson desert. Classification and mineralogy (M. Zbik, USoA; A. Pring, SAM): olivine, Fa17.1±0.3; pyroxene Fs17.6±0.7Wo0.7; shock stage S3–4. Specimens: main mass, contact Dr. A. Pring, SAM. | ||||||||||||||||
