Found 1996, summer

Ordinary chondrite (H5)

More than 150 fragments that probably came from a single weathered mass, with a total weight of 2481 g, were found together ~ 40 km southeast of Erfoud.  Classification and mineralogy (G. Kurat, NHMV):  olivine, Fa18.0; pyroxene, Fs15.9Wo1.1; kamacite contains 0.5 wt% Co; a complex, veined breccia.  Specimens:  type specimen, 18.05 g, NHMV; main mass, Mr. Vincent Jacques, Chaumont-Gistoux, Belgium
